Therapy was founded in 1983 by Christine A. Padesky and Kathleen A. Mooney after a request
from Aaron T. Beck, M.D. (the founder of Cognitive Therapy) to open a therapy and training
center in Southern California. |

Dr. Christine Padesky is
internationally respected as one of the world's leading Cognitive
Therapy instructors. She has presented over
325 workshops to more than

professionals throughout North America and Europe including five
of the World Congresses of
Cognitive Therapy (Sweden, England, Canada, Denmark, and Mexico) as well as 25
presentations
with cognitive therapy's founder, Dr. Aaron T. Beck.
She provides worldwide consultation to mental health

From 1998 to 2003 Dr. Padesky
